AWAKEN was born from my own healing...woven from early trauma, decades of seeking high achievement, and the moment I finally stopped running from the quiet.
A Journey of Transformation
Over 27 years on Wall Street, I learned what using achievement for self-worth really costs.
I lived on the surface of my life. Seeking success, validation, love, and worth from everything outside myself. Underneath it all was unprocessed trauma I hadn’t yet learned to face. It wasn’t until I found yoga that I finally began to understand what was missing.
Since 1996 I have been on a journey of transformation, diving deep into every healing technique I could find. After trying many different meditation traditions, in 2016 I discovered the meditation practice that finally resonated. That dedication led me to certifications in yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, life coaching, and Reiki, with over 10,000 hours of study in consciousness and human behavior.
I began coaching and teaching in 2017 and quickly realized my high achieving clients needed more than a traditional practice could offer.
So I built one that could meet them exactly where they were. The practice became HCM Heart-Centered Meditation®.
